Top three spring activities

  1. Biking
Taking advantage of the numerous bike trails in the area is a great way to keep fit and get outside. The Lawrence Hopewell Trail is a moderate hiking and biking trail located nearby in Pennington, New Jersey. Boasting a natural path running through Maidenhead Meadows, Turtleneck Park, and Shipetaukin Woods, the Lawrence Hopewell Trail provides the ultimate family experience that includes a safe way to interact with nature. Other than the Hopewell Trail, there are many other biking trails in the nearby vicinity, such as the Delaware and Raritan Canal Biking and Hiking Trail.
  2. Golf
No matter your skill level, golfing can be a great way to get outside. One local private golf club is the TPC Jasna Polana, which possesses an award-winning championship golf course designed by the legendary Gary Player, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history. Also in Princeton is the Bunker Hill Golf Course, which has narrow, treelined fairways and small guarded greens, ideal for more advanced players.
  3. Gardening
If you are looking to harvest some delicious vegetables later this year, now is the perfect time to start planting cabbages, cucumbers, and carrots. Growing these vegetables yourself will ensure that the greens you eat this fall are fully nutritious, fresh, and organic. Now is also the time to look into planting seeds for dahlias and peonies, as temperatures for these are ideal in late April and early May.
